In return, Bohs players will join their Hoops counterparts for a visit to Tallaght Hospital ahead of the return league tie in May.Moore told TheScore.ie, “We wanted to get along and give something back to young children from our community. Myself and Keith got talking to a couple of young patients from the area, who both supported Bohemians.“We went up to the Intensive Care Unit and, while we couldn’t stay too long, met some really brave and inspirational children. It was a real eye-opener. In the in-patients ward, downstairs, were talking to kids who were five or six and even though they were in for treatments there was not a bother on them.” Source: Bohemian FCMoore’s mother works in the administrative section of the hospital and often tells him of the hard work many staff members put in. He commented, “She would often tell me about the work that goes on but it is not until you see it with your own eyes that you truly appreciate it. There is a nurse I know that works here. It was great to hear her name mentioned as someone that really interacts with the children and is well liked.” Moore, Buckley, Sheppard and Robinson meet staff at Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Before the players’ visit, Gypsies boss Owen Heary commented, “The rivalry between us motivates the players to perform strongly when we play each other, and it motivates the fans to make a special effort to get behind their teams.”“But the players, coaches and supporters of both clubs also share a lot. Off the field of play we can each play constructive roles in our communities, and we can play our parts together.”For more on Temple Street Children’s Hospital and their latest fundraising initiatives, click here.Richard Dunne was sent off for a foul on Irish teammate Leon Best last nightRonaldo double sees Real Madrid cruise into last eightlast_img read more
