You have to fill out all the proper forms, get everything you need and drop it in the drop box with your contact information, and when we get to it we will call you on the phone, get any information that we need plus a credit card payment from you, and then we mail everything back to you.”The state has extended all driver’s licenses, non-driver ID cards and vehicle registrations with an expiration date of March 1, 2020. The clerk says the state will eventually implement a deadline to renew those documents. “We are not renewing drivers’ licenses at this time,” said Barmore. “We are not upgrading licenses. If you have a standard license and you want a real ID license you can not get one right now.”Barmore says that vehicle registrations will still be processed through the mail.“Say you bought a car from an individual or a dealer, you need a MV82 form and you will have to fill that out. You will also need a copy of your driver’s license and an insurance card for that vehicle,” furthered Barmore.Barmore does note that vehicle inspections can still be renewed.“Garages that do inspections are considered a vital service and they are still open,” explained Barmore. The clerk says those with questions can call their local DMV.
